I am trying to locate the owner of a silver Mazda3 from the Detroit area that was on tail of the dragon on 6/6/08. I am the owner of the blue Miata you were chasing. Your buddy had a camera mounted on his Honda. Do you have footage available?

Can someone tell me the allure of Tail of the Dragon if it is as heavily patrolled as everyone says it is?

It is patrolled on weekends and holiday weeks. In cars you can run at night, awesome! You will never find another road like this one.

That certainly is a great driving road, of course I say that as someone who has yet to drive it but the footage one can find on youtube is amazing! I surely wish we had a track like the Nurnberg ring which is basically a public access road. Sigh***

Go to Killboy.com and check out his photos. He takes pics daily on the dragon. I have been there numerous times and cant wait to get back there! The cars are a lot of fun cause you can run at night. There is NOBODY on that road at night and you can see everything.

Yes that was me. But I am supercharged,not turbo. We did get to do laps at Bristol. I got up to 100mph. It was a blast, but the Dragon is much more fun. Do you have the tape from the run when you all were behind me? I would love to get a copy. Let me know when you are heading down again. I live about 3 hours from the dragon and we could meet up. I wanted to talk with you again that day, but got fed up with all of the slow harleys.
