I have been searching for days on this clunk in the Trunk issue, But Have not heard if it does any damage to vehicle? I know its loud and annoying, but will it break or hurt anything.

(I mean the bushings and/or rear stabalizer bar)

What do you think??? Its a loud clucking noise... it can't be good for it.

i think the noise was singled out to the endlinks on the swaybar. as far as i know, mazda has released new endlinks, that you should be able to get replaced under warranty. as for damage, it wont cause any SERIOUS damage to my knowledge. if it does, that is also covered under warranty. best bet is to go to the dealer and have them inspect the endlinks (make sure that its making the noise, otherwise they may just blow you off since they cant reproduce it.)
