CX-9 Touring
Howzit everyone, just picked up a CX-9 about a month ago, and stumbled on this site. Had a cobra mustang all this time, but wanted something a little more spacious, and easier on the wallet in terms of gas; also, I'm done with the speeding/racing scene, just wanna cruz in comfort now. Wanted to try out the crossover class of vehicles, and decided on Mazda 'cause of the nice body style compared to the rest of the crossovers (IMO).

Anywayz, just wanted to say wassup... aloha.

Thanks for the offer BBD, but I've been searching all over the net, including ebay. I'm afraid that since it's new, the CX-9 doesn't have much aftermarket parts. Anyways, I'm not gonna touch anything on the engine; maybe just a K&N filter if anything.

Yeah, I haven't found a body kit for the CX-9 yet.
I'll keep lookin'

Thanks "ookiku warui otousan." ;) But I don't think we'll see any for awhile...

余り無理しないでね!

That's the crapy thing about the CX-9. I mean, it's been out for 2 years now, won Motor Trend's SUV of the year for 2008, and you figure they would start making an effort to pump out some aftermarket parts.(shrug)

I really wanna change out the stock deck to a double-din touchscreen deck, but don't want to mod the inside of the dash... I have to wait until they make a kit (if that ever happens).(sad2)

It will happen....sooner or later it will.
I'm waiting for a double-din kit for the 6,
but for now I'm happy with what I got..... DSCF8144.webp DSCF8214.webp DSCF8219.webp

welcome aboard oroboy

Thanks Aloha808, glad to be here. Wish I was in "Sin City" right now hitting the Megabucks machine...:p Had to postpone my trip from this October (*sigh*... no SEMA again for me this year), to next Feb. or March. Used up my spending money on the downpayment for the car, and all the little goodies I'm putting on it.

VERY nice set up brah. I was contemplating putting a single-din deck in, but had to control myself... the CX-9 has a decent stock sound system complete with an input for my Ipod hidden in the armrest compartment; so it'll suffice for now, but the waiting is driving me nuts!(bang) Everytime I open up the Buy & Sell, or the Previews paper, I see all those ads staring back at me... I always get the urge to jump in the car and shoot down to the stereo shop.
