And suddenly the engine bay seems downright cavernous without all that plastic in there! :D

Looks great. I hope you enjoy the upgrade!! (headbang)

The forge valve is a great choice. Max boost I can hit without it is 12 psi. I can hit 14- 15 with (sometimes higher! :)). Only recommendation regarding a boost controller is to be careful. The ecu logs overboost codes, so your dealer will be able to tell if you are going over stock (which may or may not be an issue for you). There are ways to get around that though with a map clamp or the atp boost cut defender (made for the MS3 & MS6; protege garage sells a combo package for about $150). **Edit: If you are going over stock, you will need one of these, else the ecu will engage boost cut...**

Otherwise, there are tons of parts that you can go with as well:

- Exhaust is a great option for any turbo; ours respond very well to upgrades. Check out options from Exhaust depot, CPE and Corksport
- CPE Standback - good for tuning and maximizing performance, but it will require splicing wires to the ECU. Plug in adapter coming soon...
- ETS Top Mount Intercooler - A good option that is supposed to be one of the best power producers on our car.
- HKS Ignition Controller - another part made for the MS3 & MS6, but could be used on our cars as well. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone that has installed this upgrade just yet.
Those are the big ones; do much more than those and you will likely start encountering fuel cut, which is another issue altogether. Please ask more questions...

this might have been asked a million times but is the forge any louder than stock? Basically: will the wife notice? I already have the c-pe and she thinks its loud.

Hi S/S18,

I want to order the ETS TMIC but i notice there a core thickness (3", 3.25" & 3.5") which one should i order?

Cheers

Stan

Most people are sticking with the 3" & 3.25" units. That said, I don't *think* there are any issues with the 3.5". I would ask the question of ETS though to see what their experience has been...

I don't think the plastic intercooler cover will fit back on with the 3.5" but I could be wrong.
