Asa Ar1

Hey guys. Just thought I would show ya the wheel I'm going with now. I was going to use the Konig Feather before, but the offset was off by 7.5mm and I ended up thinking that was too big of difference. I am now going with the ASA AR1 wheel. It is heavier, but has a almost perfect offset. 52mm offset. The wheel weighs 21lbs per 17" wheel but having such a good offset at such a good price I figured I couldn't go wrong. The weight isn't terrible anyways. Let me know what you guys think.

Do you have a MS3? If so, why 17"? For the price of the ASA's, theres similar wheels like have the same type of look, but look much better. Shop around and you will see what i mean.

If it's an MS3 you should go with 18x7.5x48mm
I have a regular 3. If I had the MS3 I would definitely go with 18". As far as looking around at other rims, I have done my homework. This rim is a good quality rim at a good price. Not sure how I could do much better price wise than what I'm paying. I think that they look really good too imo.

Hey - I love them. If 17"s fit then go for it. They are very high quality rims for the $$$.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I'm pretty happy with them also. jp4130 has never said anything positive about my choice in wheels. First wheel I picked he said offset was terrible, second set is too heavy. LOL, your a hard guy to please dude!! I have to say that I'm not a rich dude and have to work on a budget. I'm not trying to have the fastest car around, I just want a car that looks good, fun to drive, and makes me happy. Those rims will serve the purpose for what I need. Thanks for all input again guys.

Not trying to be a jerk dude, that offset was definetly to far off.
The wieght of these is less of an issue.

Yes I am very picky when it comes to wheels.

Youre late to the party, dont copy my ride! :P

I'm going to be looking for some 235/40 series soon, do you know what kind you are going for? I'm thinking the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1.

I like ASA wheels. I have a set on my car and think while they are not the lightest wheels they look good for the price. I'll have to post some pics soon.

Most people I have talked to that have them really like them. They look great and have really good build quality for the price. While they aren't the lightest I have seen, they definitely have the best fitment out of all the wheels I looked at. I'm looking forward to putting them on the car once spring comes.

Well the quality is definitely there. I believe ASA is simply BBS, but built in Korea. Since Korea is quickly becoming one of the most sophisticated countries on the earth right now, I think that is a GREAT thing.

Do you plan on lowering your car afterwords?

I will for sure get my car lowered sometime this summer. I have to do one thing at a time. The girlfriend almost killed me as it is for buying the wheels. Hehe. Women I tell ya.... their priorities are so different than ours..(scratch)
