new guy... well sort of...

Hey all -
Just wanted to say hello... picked up my yellow '03 Protege 5 back in April 2007, and in almost 7 months, I've already put 20K miles on it ( it's a work car ).
I told myself that I'd only service the car and put gas in it
( again, I use the car primarily for work )... but I had to get the Mazdaspeed axleback on ebay ( the car had some cheapo Walker muffler with a pee shooter tail pipe which had to go ) and the obligitory B&M short shifter was a must. Now the windows are tinted nicely... BUT ALL OTHER ACTIVITIES MUST STOP ( at least for now )...
Just found this website yesterday... and I'll be looking forward to getting some ideas for later on...

One more MUST upgrade is a set of DaveB guage rings. They add the perfect touch to the cluster and the way the light dances on them at night is mesmorizing.

perhaps... but I just spent a chunk of change on the new Blizzak WS-60's mounted on steelies for the next couple of months ( to me, worth the investment considering the miles I do ). I think my next mod will be a set of 17" ADR M-SPORT wheels and some nice summer tires in the spring... I had a set of PIAA Mesh on a WRX that I had... and really liked the look...
