i think, generally speaking, drilled/slotted rotors are supposed to prevent locking just by the very nature of releasing heat and pressure...
i'm not sure to what degree or anything... but i'm sure it helps at least a little bit.

No ABS on a P5? I didn't know they made those. But then again, I'm quite certain there's still plenty I don't know about them, so... yeah.
I wouldn't expect a miracle cure to locking up, by any means... but if I had to guess, I'd say they'll help a bit.
and i know exactly what you mean. there is nothing more irritating then when someone finds it necessary to stop completely before turning. I always make sure to drop down a gear and wind it out just so they know how very tough I am...
r1, were these rotors drilled/slotted after they were cast, or were the holes/slots cast into the rotors?

??? for everybody, is it ok to use the stock pads until i get the cash for the new ones? only a week or 2 wait? i dont wanna mess up my new rotors!
