ebay crossed drilled slotted rotors

will these rotors help prevent locking the brakes at all?

i think, generally speaking, drilled/slotted rotors are supposed to prevent locking just by the very nature of releasing heat and pressure...

i'm not sure to what degree or anything... but i'm sure it helps at least a little bit.

plus they LOOK SWEET.

yea, i think i am going to get them. and i thought it would help w/ the locking...i dont have abs and i hate locking up trying to stop because some jackass decides he is going to slam on his brakes, stop, THEN turn right

r1, were these rotors drilled/slotted after they were cast, or were the holes/slots cast into the rotors?

No ABS on a P5? I didn't know they made those. But then again, I'm quite certain there's still plenty I don't know about them, so... yeah.

I wouldn't expect a miracle cure to locking up, by any means... but if I had to guess, I'd say they'll help a bit.

and i know exactly what you mean. there is nothing more irritating then when someone finds it necessary to stop completely before turning. I always make sure to drop down a gear and wind it out just so they know how very tough I am...

i do that too. lol. yea abs was an optional upgrade. if you dont have an abs light when the dummy lights are on, you dont have it either. better go check

Nah... i have it for sure. i've felt it, and actually just had it serviced last week.

i don't care that much about it, though... sometimes i'd much rather not have it. sometimes.

Well I had Zinc plated before. They do rust just anything else thats water hits.

Got My Rotors

Hey guys, i got my rotors today!!!

1st thoughts are...WOW, nice. they look like a pretty good quality rotor! I will be installing them tomorrow hopefully if i can get my broken lug not off my car! Here are some pics of the rotors

You should be fine. Just make sure you do change them.

did u order them online or did u call them and order? cause i emailed them and they told me to call with the order. i hope it doesnt cause any issues, cause they told me they'd email me all the info, but i havent gotten anything from them yet...
