What have you done to your P5 today?

Took my last trip from Detour Lake to Timmins on highway 652. Missed a bear by a couple of feet. Stupid wild animals running out of the trees across a highway.

im planning on a sea foam day tomorrow along with a oil change! :D what sections of the car do i put the sea foam into again? This will be my first time doing it and if i remember correctly, its like the gas tank, oil tank, and what else?

Well, I am supposed to be in the air right now heading home so I can drive my car tonite but noooooooooooooo.. This frikkin project I am in Texas for is all F'd up and so I get to spend another weekend working in Corsicana...........Yeeeeee-Ha...........Damnit !!

Thanks man, it is a custom setup with the Corksport IC core. The piping comes up through that hole you mentioned, using a MAM pipe from there to the TB. The rest is just crappy eBay bends routed around.

I have some pictures of how I redid the intake. Basically it is just a short ram facing down. The filter just barely pokes through a hole I trimmed in the plastic undertray near the transmission. I'll upload the pics in a little bit and post 'em up :D
Sounds good! I always wondered what the CS IC and endtanks looked like. I guess I know where I'll be going if and when my IC craps out. I just don't like how the MAM is so big - it's overkill for my 8 psi but it was the only thing available at the time.

me and my son just finished doing r first project together on the car. i was trying to think where the e-man would go. so we made a rack to go into the glove box, i think it all came out good for r first time working on the car. now i have to wire this baby in over the weekend, the next one i think might b the sound system.

that sucks, how have u been? its warm out we need to meet up sometime soon. wilson

Not too bad man. Busy traveling. Down in Texas, been here for a week and a half. We do need to meet up, not much going on in the Michigan section lately. We need to have another fun drive and get you to make the trek in. It would be a bit of a hike though.

That looks like a big ass to do list you got hanging on the garage wall there !!

hey quick question: the 2003 mazda protege5 floormats...what other years/models do they fit? the 2001-2003 proteges/msp/mp3 I assume...they should also fit the 1999 and 2000 models right? since they're all 3rd gen proteges?

quick question. not so much what i did, but what i noticed today. i do valet and had several stick shifts today. is the p5 clutch noticeably softer (the pedal itself) than most others? i even had an old honda and the clutch on that was stiffer than mine. is my clutch just needing replacing or is that how the p5 clutch is?

i want to get a nice finish, the last ones i did did not feel smooth. so we going to wet them, then buff, and then clear coat them.

Yesterday: alignment, oil change, realize sandwich plate is messed up
Today: inspection (in progress), make license plate bracket, change tranny fluid??? bbq???

just pour it all over the engine bay and on top of the hood. works miracles.

ok ok I'm just kidding. I've heard some people put it in through the PCV valve but really the best way to get it to clean your entire engine is though the brake booster line.

damn it, why is it that everyone else can find the how-to's on this site and i cannot! >:(

anyways, thanks for that post whitemp5, i seafoamed the car this morning and got all my neighbors freaked out that my car caught on fire (rofl2)

other things planned for today:

Oil Change #1 (currently being done)
Go to honda and get gf a replacement remote (while breaking in the new oil)
Oil Change #2
Removing front license plate and mount
Re-taping my DGM front lip
Shipping CF eyelids to MSP.com member
Car wash
Clean tail lights of the sticky crap left over from the Rockblocker overlays (using Tarminator!)

Maybe today:
Finally getting around to getting the kartboy hangers on that ive had for nearly 6 months
