What have you done to your P5 today?

Used it to haul this tool box home. Lemme tell you...no wheel gap at all with that thing in the back.

Yesterday: alignment, oil change, realize sandwich plate is messed up
Today: inspection (in progress), make license plate bracket, change tranny fluid??? bbq???

License plate bracket for the front bumper I assume? Pics pls when you are done. I may have to copy you and make one. I'm currently rocking the no front plate mod, which is hot, but not legal so much.

My JB Weld fix for heat shield on the cat lasted for a few minutes, then it must have got too hot and failed. The noise isn't as bad though. But the JB Weld smells like peanut butter when it gets hot and was making me feel sick :(

Also my turkey is SUPER LOUD now. So my car rattles, squeaks, back fires, AND TURKEYS!!! People have to just go "WTF" when I drive by.

The worst part is my electrical gremlins. My stereo is on the fritz so bad I don't even want to turn it on. Which sucks, because that is the only way to drone out the aforementioned noises (gotta go windows down with no ac)

tl;dr I need a daily driver

me and my son just finished doing r first project together on the car. i was trying to think where the e-man would go. so we made a rack to go into the glove box, i think it all came out good for r first time working on the car. now i have to wire this baby in over the weekend, the next one i think might b the sound system.

You need proper pics with a paper that says your name, the date, and the forum name on it. Banned until then.

On a more serious note. I LOVE you white board in the background of things to get done. I used to use pieces of paper and pencil, then I graduated to notepad documents that I would never open for a long time. WHITE BOARD duh! I think I may have to put this on my to do list.

Yea. My Ipod won't start or operate correctly after it has been sitting in the sun mounted to my dashboard. I have it mounted to front and side of an A/C vent so I can shoot the A/C right onto the ipod to cool it down quickly.... except I have no real A/C (basically just fans blowing) because the p5 is crap. It takes about 15 minutes to cool down enough for it to work.

I drove from Timmins to Dundas today. Including yesterdays drive I went almost 1060 km on about 67 litres of gas, for an overall fuel economy of about 6.3 liters per 100 km. 37 miles per US gallon or so. I'm pretty happy with that. I also finally got home and put my new CX-7 antenna on the car. Tomorrow, time for a wash, vac, and clean out. Also get the new shift boot on.

Will do, although mine will be alittle different because I don't have the front lip. Yeah no-plate mod = illegal in VA (what isn't). The turkey is that bad? Are you running relocated, what BOV/BPV are you using?

Liquid... that isn't too bad, but I'm getting used to the no plate mod and don't want to go back :( It looks so good!

magnumP5 I'm using a HKS SSQV BOV on the cold pipe about 14" from the TB. I don't have a MAF any more, using Microtech. My HKS is the older adjustable one but I'm wondering if it is b0rked. It doesn't seem like it is working. I think my friend has one I can steal and test to see if it works.

How is that "on topic"? unless you are going to a drive in...

Ah, forgot about that. Yeah the BOV could be the problem but I really don't know much about that (I'm using the Boost Sciences BPV) but I have absolutely not turkey whatsoever. Man, I still can't get over how nice that FMIC looks. Are you going to keep the lower grille off?

Pulled the rear badges off and stopped at Auto-zone for goo gone before heading to Rita's. Will prep/paint/apply badges tomorrow, pending yard work.
