'02 Protege2 - 85K+ miles & going strong
I figured it time for a change in hardware...

Meet the fastest thing I have ever (owned)... rated at over 180MPH, it dont even blink about pulling away from my trusty MP5... or an STI, Accord V6, and SHO and the rest that I have found along I-95

Hope you enjoy, even if you are a die hard Japanese engineering fan.

hehe look at that, I just noticed my MP5 sneaking into the pic on the 9th (4th of second set). Look at the righthand cornor of the car (left side of the pic).

Ah was a pretty car..

this is the reason i am going back stock GTO is seriously a beautiful car

Im actually test driving a few this saturday but mine will be a 2005 used

They offered me $2k back and I laughed at them so then they got serious and did me 60mo 0%, never gonna pay a penny in interest! Saved something like 7-10k there alone!

Brand new, too. Did your deal include incentives? If so, how much?

the RX-8 was calling me too, that and the Miata. I was not even looking for American Muscle, but I fell in love with it and now we is married... at least for the time being! =o)

Seem to be just as few parts for the GTO as for the MP5 though - (headshake

Nice. I was inches from buying one myself. The RX-8 was calling me though.

The 05 is not a bad one at all... just watch for rubbing on the inner tire wall against the struts, same for the 04 GTO. Other than that the 05 is near identical to mine but for a smaller engine costing you about 50 horses and about the same drop in torque. But still sure to be a potent car.

I have had mine climb 0-60 in 5.1sec w/ heavy retardation due to running a tank and a half of reg. (lowest octane) fuel.

Will try to make a new dyno run this weekend. (idhitit)

Excellent job man, VERY nice - I'm planning on maybe getting one down the road myself...just hopefully not too far down...I'd do a complete Monaro conversion...btw to all, there are more resources than one might think as far as aftermkt goes - ls1gto.com - left side vendor/site listing...anyway congrats and stay safe! :D And yeah, I'm jealous....lol

And if you wait too long you will have good cause to be jealous too, I had to get mine imported from CT (to ME) and they were saying that there are only a few hundred left up for grabs unless you go used, then your numbers increase a fair bit I guess.

bow chicka bow wow!
