P.S. still have that hiflow midpipe?
RedSled said:The 05 is not a bad one at all... just watch for rubbing on the inner tire wall against the struts, same for the 04 GTO. Other than that the 05 is near identical to mine but for a smaller engine costing you about 50 horses and about the same drop in torque. But still sure to be a potent car.
I have had mine climb 0-60 in 5.1sec w/ heavy retardation due to running a tank and a half of reg. (lowest octane) fuel.

i like it. are you keeping the p5 for your winter car? is it a manual or auto?
RedSled said:Seem to be just as few parts for the GTO as for the MP5 though - (headshake

If you did, get the skip-shift eliminator. It's like $30 and makes the car a lot more enjoyable in city driving.
RedSled said:Nope it's the A4 which shaves .1 or more off the 0-60. The auto shifts so fast you would swear its been in a speed-shop; far quicker than anyone can shift a manual.
They are, the Dodge Charger is the same. You lose a couple of horses with the auto, but a human wastes more time and power during the manual shifts I guess. Let me see if I can find the links to back up what I said - wait it's the holden site I think.sanblaster1 said:I could have swore that a salesmen told me the the autos are faster then the manual GTO's...
silverspeed03 said:For quater mile runs or from a dead stop yes, A4 would get the jump to 60 but the M6 will walk the A4 from there.
From a roll or highway run M6 will win every time (mod for mod of course)
Also the M6 has taller gearing so, higher top speed.
