boost gauge question

i just got an autometer boost/vac gauge and i was wondering where everyone that has one mounted the map sensor that comes with the kit and what line was tapped into

map sensor? most people have spliced the vac line from the intake mani to the WGA or the brake booster line

yea the boost gauge kit i have has a sensor that the vaccum line is connected to and the wire harness goes from the sensor to the gauge

Sounds like an electric boost gauge. You'll need to connect that sensor to a vacuum line that you splice into a vacuum line coming off of the intake manifold.

i had the electric one. it sucked. i got a mechanical one.
i mounted the map sensor though, over on the left side of the firewall(passengers side)
