Underglow Neon

I've never been a fan of NEON on cars. It's a little too mini-truck circa 1990 for me. I am glad they no longer make Oakley Thermo-nuclear protection stickers the size of pizza pans and Reebok pumps any more. (ughdance)
It's from an era I can't forget fast enough.

In the Mustang community, neon would get you shot. My personal opinion, I like sleepers so I would never do anything too flashy.

The reason I quoted you Swampass is that is also reminds me of mini trucks around Myrtle Beach, SC to be exact.

heres a few crappy pics of my car when i had my underbodys on it. I took em off cuz i lowered it and the front one kept gettin busted. The pics are kinda blurry but u get the idea, you couldnt see the tubes under the car unless you were like 200 yards away.

Not my thing, but these new body kits would fit right in with the neon lights.

Well i have a led kit that i have for a lil while and works perfect. it has so many features , it strobes, stays steady or changes between 8-9 patterns . * color is blue * i no longer need it bc it wont match when the car is painted so i will let it go cheap .

Haha, I like how there's even a hood scoop made out of plywood. That's class right there... :)

This thread has me thinking....and you know what happens then.

I had them on my car and drove with them certain times. I had that Varad LED kit, but after 2 winters, the one set of wires got corroded and I never could get them to work right again, so I just took them off. I also had them inside below the dash and below the front seats, but just got bored with them and took them out too. I love the look, but hide the bulbs and be smart with them. I'm 21 now and torn what I might do with my MS3 when I get it.

There should be a no underglow rule for MS3's.

Neon just seems like something people do if they don't have a nice car but want people to think they do. Really ricey in my opinion.

If it doesn't add power or improve handling, it's not worth money.

My last set was free from a friend who "didn't like the color with his new car", so he gave them to me to fix and install on my car. I do like the subtle look when they're on it. I was thinking of going with white lighting for my MS3 if I decided to put them on, I think it gives it a "ghostly" look, which is kinda cool.
