Paint On Mirror Faded

FYI guys - a few of the colors of the protege are single stage paint...such as the yellow and perhaps the red.
 
alright heres the pictures i promised of my semi f'ed up paint.

the last 2 are a lil photoshopped to help you see the problem area
the first one isnt photoshopped, just taken with a flash.


tell me what you think is up with that.

same thing with mine. when i get my bump fixed i will ask them to pait them also.

damn that sucks , too bad for ur skirt :S
are u going to fix it ? eventually probably
ill have a look around in the winter for my mirrors

yea youre tellin me. eventually yea ill have it all fixed. but right now i cant afford s***
 
Try a scratch remover polish and buff the crap out of it. I did this then I waxed it and it helped a lot

its not scratched, its like the paint is dissolved off the plastic. ill try that tho, cant make it look any worse.

Yah that stuff works for oxidized and damaged paint also
 
if you were to repaint the mirrors, I'd suggest popping off the painted covers first and painting them off the car that way you don't have to worry about masking anything!

man, I'm so glad I'm not the only one on this one, for the longest time I thought I just forgot to wipe some wax off or something dumb like that
