Okay, well you are probably wondering what it is? I wanted to share this and not keep it a secret since everyone on forums has done a lot for me. For a while now, people have been doing lips, grills, or wings, but not really side skirts. So I found a solution for you Protege owners. Keep in mind, I think this is a great mod because for a while now, I have seen no suttle sideskirts made for our car. If you don't think this is a good idea, oh well... Didn't mean to excite you...

A while ago, people saw this picture (attach 1) and wondered how to get this mod, but it was a custom-of-a-kind product made from Trust Japan.

I thought about for a bit and discovered something that might actually work. I never got a chance to try it out until tonight.

In this picture is my good friends 02-03 WRX (attach 2). As you can see on the rear of his sideskirt is an OEM add-on.

So.... put 2 and 2 together...

We were at the car show tonight prepping both of our cars and before he put the piece on his car, I test fitted it on my car and guess what? PERFECT fit. You will just need to cut off the tab under the sideskirt (you'll feel it) and im 99% sure itll fit.

I will try this very soon.

If anyone wants to try this also, lmk because I am VERY interested in doing this mod soon.

I have been looking into this mod too. They are called Strakes, and they are listed on this Subaru Parts page: http://www.subaruparts.com/catalog/?section=423. Kind of pricey though. I have a guy that works at the local Subaru dealership looking into getting me a pair.
