Well I was waiting for the speed3 to come out but after about 7 test drives I couldnt pass this one up. After one week and 4 dealers later all my needs were met and i pulled the trigger!

what an ugly car, how do you even drive it? :)

When I test drove it, i know I wanted it before I got out of the parking lot.

Congrats

Thanks Newf....Oh I knew I wanted it after the first drive it just took that many tries to get them to the price I wanted.(drive2)

well, I know where you are coming from there. I had to drive to another province to get mine.

It's a really nice car. The more I drive it the more I love it. Putting some Zaino on it today to sine'er up!

Is that titanium, or silver you got there?

Funny, the one here has been for sale since November. They can't sell it. And now, all of a sudden after I got mine it's got a "reduced" sign on it.

Its titanium, i am actually putting on a coat of wax (S100) in a bit. Two shiny speed6's- nice

I saw another speed 6 last week at a car show, very very nice interior. I didn't realize the exhaust tips were not attached to the actual exhaust...

Congrats!

I did the same thing as you, I was going to buy an MS3 but I could get the MS6 for a few grand more with the discounts they were giving.

Congrats on another successful MS6 acquistion. The more I drive it the more I love it...LOL!

Took a 1000km road trip this weekend and had it cruising at 140kmh/~80mph most of the time. She wasn't even breathing hard. I probably (if I had absolutely NO regard for my licence) could have easily cruised for the entire distance at 180kmh had I wanted as this car LOVES the highway.

Once again, glad to hear that you are part of the family.

That is one thing I hate about this car! Probably the only thing I hate. Why couldn't they spend another $50 and get the exaust expanded to the tips. It looks nice from a far, or at the angle that you can't see the tips inside the ovals. But once you see that, you realized that they cheesed out on that part of the car.

Oh well...nothing a few $'s can't fix.

The exhaust tips really are no big deal and is barelly noticeable unless you are really trying to find things wrong with the car.

Yup...agreed. Just wish they would have done that a little bit better.

Yeah I dont like the tips either, but I bet if mazda did expand the pipe to match the tip then they would heat up too much and probably slowly melt and blacken the bumper.

Who knows maybe someone will figure out some interesting way to improve it.

Lets hope so ;).

I painted the exhaust flat black and it looks much better. You don't see any silver at all.

Also I am going to add tips on both pipes to see if that looks better. I'll take pics when I get them done. Should be this weekend.

I think i have read that someone on another forum had removed them and it was melting a bit(shrug) (dunno)
