I'm 95% sure that you're right. The last I heard, WW discontinued the hoods and never started production again.

So if you want one, your best chance is to keep an eye out on the forums for somebody that's selling one -- or there might be a VERY obscure chance of randomly finding one on Ebay.

ill trade mine - rain guards and mesh grill powdercoated black and the same pearl as the rest of the spicy orange MSP (goldish) for a reverse cowl hood if you will pay to have the outside section on it painted spicy orange =D

I just sold my WW hood. I will be ordering the excelerated concepts hood shortly and it looks like i've maybe convinced protegeric to get in on one as well. (thumb)

hey i was reading up about the evo hood and it says that we needed hood pins but i see a lot of cars that have the hood w/out the pins. so do you really need the pins if you get the hood or should it hold down just fine

Yeah, I like the Racing Hart wheels and with my Wilwood Huge Brake Kit, I would have to go try on the wheels one at a time or find out the EXACT measurements and offset needed and stuff, and I`m lazy. But, I like the wheels that came on the car so I wanna keep `em on. And I have a frontmount in my car and I don`t know... BUT, I hope you`re not too mad cause I`ll just represent over heer in SA and you take care of Houston. Sounds good to me, eh?

well..........you'd need another 2k for rims/tires like mine though! plus..........my frontmount is already.

WELL, I`m thinkin about gettin wheels now. Could u post a pic. of your wheels? I don`t wanna get the same wheels you have... Or Do I?!

your wheels look more clean/machined/one-piece. yeah, I like the stock wheels pretty much for the same reasons also. I`ll have to think about it some more. Maybe those wheels are too flashy/racey. thanks for the pic.s

eh.........they look like rotoras or whatever their called. i like mine way better personally.

WW c/f with black grilles, on a black mica '03 MSP, with '035 wheels, for those interested... and no hood pins, the hood's pretty sturdy (but does flex a little at high speed)

I really like the WW hood but the area around the hood prop rod has the prop rod resting on the underside of the top surface of the hood. It's worked so far, but I certainly don't want the prop rod through the top of the hood so I've been careful...

It's certainly lighter than the stock hood, but not 50lb lighter, maybe ~5lb.

Can definitely see heat escaping through the grilles in summer - I put the black hail dinged steel one back on in winter... anyone got a black NON-hail dinged steel hood they want to get rid of?
