Beercap Table

Alright, I have been saving beer caps for about a year (although most of them were accululated this summer). I decided I have enough to make a beercap table. So, here is some pictures of all of the caps laid out. Now I am going to think of something to design and lay it out, but I thought I would show you all the beginning, since I have never seen this on the forums thus far. I will make another post when I figure out the design to do, I was thinking of taking all the red or "budwiser" caps and writing "BEER" and have the rest highlighting that. If anyone has some other ideas to do, let me know.

Oh, BTW there are 1,380 caps on the table so far

actually, it's a cool idea. the beer thing in the middle and the rest around it sounds kinda cool and will look neat. it's a cool, creative idea. i've done something like so in the past with broken bottles and such but it never seemed to work out for me.

maybe get a piece of wood and make it like a picture of some sort instead of using it as a table? unless you plan on buying a piece of plastic or glass to put over it.

make a red beer bottle wiht all the other stuff around it.. that would be cool .. and then just get some plexiglass for over the top.. so when can i place an order for one?

<edit> I tryed something like this too. I to tyred to keep caps just to see how many ive drank and then iwas going to make a gaint beercap bottle shaped statue.. but for some reason the more i drank the more caps i lost. i gave up .. im a loser

Build a low sided "tray" top for the table -- paint the inside black, glue each cap where u want it and pour a clear resin over it to seal it all up

pfft, i drink more than that in my sleep.

cool idea man, but i've seen bottlecap wall murals that are intense. keep saving, and look into that.

Thats the plan! Hardest part is not getting any air bubbles.

I like the the idea of making a bottle too.

Here is one reason why it took so long to get enough caps, damn kegerator! We call it the "beverage house". External thermostat keeps it (it being a freezer) running at 36 F. I also put my milk in here...mmm...

November 7 here. I am the 1985 outcast :(

I think a flying M would be bitchin. My friend has "Budweiser" spelled out on the roof of his apartment with beer caps.
