255/50R17 on 17x7.5???

This is not for a Protege, Just trying to sell some wheels.
Can I mount a 255/50R17 on 17x7.5 wheel?? The tire is 10 inches wide and the wheel is 7.5 wide. Here is the tire. Thanks

I highly doubt that. There should be some specs that show what size wheel you can mount that on.

With a 50 sidewall it's probably physically possible....but I wouldn't recommend doing it.

You can mount them..depends on the car you're gonna be putting them on.
