Yeah...I was pretty surprised at the stock run of 161...and very pleasantly surprised at the FMIC run of 178. Now I make as much to the wheels as the factory (crank) rating :)

The car sounds MEAN as hell now...the turbo is LOUD LOUD LOUD spooling up...and the stock BPV, unlike the MSP, is a nice, loud WHOOOOSH instead of a turkey call. It almost sounds like a quieter version of the TurboXS RFL (Really F'ing Loud) BOV.

The car pulls soooo much stronger now...and even after beating on it during the almost 2 hour drive home, there was not a single instance of heatsoak in about 75 degree temps in the evening.

Ambient temp in the dyno room was 90 degrees BTW. Once the weather cools down a bit it will pull even harder :)

not bad at all, crank up the boost :)

sorry I dont know much about these cars, what model of turbo and stock boost level does it come with?

It's an IHI RHF5 (tiny little thing...may even be smaller than the Garrett T25R used on the MSP). Factory boost pressure is 7.5-8psi.

I think the spike made the peak numbers go way up. What do those things run in the 1/4?

and I remember someone flaming me for saying a MSM could benefit from a larger FMIC... of course this was months a months ago.. but the proof is in the pudding so to speak.

1/4 mile stock time varies a lot...I've seen reports of as low as 14.6 and as high as 15.1.

Stock, it was definitely quicker than my MSP when it was stock...and I got a 15.02 run out of my stock MSP. So high 14's would be an accurate guess.

so these runs are on your car?

what other performance goodies you running/'planning on running'? any ems or exhaust?

Anybody come up with a way to bump the boost up to them yet? I know its pcm controlled, just curious if someone came up with something.
If not let me know...

Yes they were on my car.

No other upgrades besides the FMIC and CAI. Next up will be a catted downpipe...probably not until the spring though.

Not 100% sure on that...I will search the MSM forums again and let you know either way.
