alright I just installed my Injen CAI and everything is great sounds cool, everything seems ot be running smoother not sue if its just in my mind but it dosent seem as jerky anymore..but I do have a question or 2 How did you relocate the coolant fuild container thingy (pics would be wonderful)! and also there was a bracked I had to pull out of the stock intade tubing near the intake manifold..where the hell do I put that? I put the bracket that came with the injen CAI on it but I couldnt find out where to put it so right now its zip tied to my strut bar lol please include pics of your setup if you have em it would help me out tons!

Im at work right now so cant give you pictures but i can try to explain it as well as i can. Regarding the bracket by the intake manifold you just zip tie it to something. I zip tied mine to something next to the firewall. The big green tank what you do is turn it 45% toward the engine and you line up the holes and just screw it in. I am pretty sure i used two screws. Hope this helps.
thx for the info and the pictures it helped alot, I got the bracket remounted but I still gotta find a way to position that tank right now I just have it done like they say on the injen instructions but I dont like how its just dangling by 1 bracket..Mmmmmken it may just me being blind or just dumb but I dont think my injen cai came with a 2nd bracket to secure the coolant bottle like yours..I dunno ill have to look at it again
Look down there and you'll see it's very well protected. The snow could never be an issue, and I've only heard of water being a problem in situations with very deep standing water. Definately a consideration to take in, though...

i had a CAI on my prelude and on my integra.... i also have the injen on my p5..i live in utah and never had a problem with either car during the winter with the snow. I even went through some moderately deep puddles and had no issues either. Basically as long as your moving... your plastic skirts underneath will deflect all the water outa the way for the most part... your problem comes definitely if you are going too slow, or if you stop in the water.
one last question...to reset the ECU because im being told I should, but right now my car seems to be running fine and I havent reset it since...all I have to do is turn the car off, disconnect the ground wire from the battery, then pump the brakes..reconnect and let it run for 10 mins?
yeah prettymuch. When the battery's disconnected, you'll see that the dash lights don't go on. Hitting the brakes a few times will help to remove any residual charge in the system, thus causing the ECU to reset once the battery is reconnected.
Keep in mind you'll need to reprogram the clock and radio, and your trip odometers will be reset to zero.
