tinted window...$$?

How much does it usually cost to get tinted window ? Anyone know?

mine was a specialty tinting shop. at least they started that way then recently they got alarms and stuff. make sure the place looks like it will last if they give you a lifetime warranty (which i got) and make sure they have a nice garage to do it in or else you can risk getting dirt and stuff in between the film and the glass. Just look around they usually have a big "TINT" sign. and look at your local tuner mags. we have local magazines here with adds on shops nearby.

Well open up your yellow pages and turn to the Windows section or something like that. Then call up the different ads listed there and ask for 3 or 4 quotes. It helps if you have some sort of community phonebook/yellow pages it will narrow things down to the shops in your area.

but as for the % , i m not sure what % to get
i pretty much spend most of the time in NY and MA
i've been looking around the forum, i see two different % for NY
one says 70/70/any and the other one just said NO/NO/NO
so i m kinda confused

I JUST got mine tinted for $120 yeaterday... Every window except windshield and Sunroof... 35% tint!

It was done by a guy that goes to the Local Porsche/Mercedes dealer where my brother is a lot manager, so yea.

i got my tint done in florida @ Florida Power Savers and it cost me $130 + tax with a lifetime warranty! 25% for the front 15% on all other places including the strip on the front windshield! They did a great job

tint in fl and other "sunny" states has been traditional way cheaper than up north...sometimes almost half!
