my fogs are in there still and I did not have to cut any of the bumper

did you remove that support bracket in the middle so the IC could go all the way back?

never mind I can see its gone, but you sure the IC was all the way back?

also on the drivers side get rid of that clamp on the IC and put the worm clamps on, that clamp may not hold up very well under boost

not ALL the way but its pushed back ...
**** i thinkin i ****** up... now i need a new bumper cuz my bumper looks fugly now.

do they fit on the silicone connector but when you try and put it on the IC it wont fit? if so do this

put the worm clamp on the IC, then push the silicone connector on the IC and as the connector gets in as far as it can put the clamp on then

the problem is that the clamps are not designed for the large bumps in the IC

yeah mine is probably about 1/4" away from the back so depending on how far yours is away that might be the problem

I see what happened Albert... crap... now I feel bad that I was in the movie when you tried to call me back.:( I thought you were all done though when you said you got it done in 5 hours... sorry dude, I would have told you to NOT cut anything til I saw some pics.

The core isn't pushed back far enough for one... that is why the pipes are keeping you from putting fogs on. You also put the cold side pipe #1 on backwards... the shorter side should connect to the IC, and the longer side should connect to cold side pipe #2. I am pretty sure that is what happened.:(

I had the same exact problem with mine. I had to cut my fogs also (although not as much as yours), so good thing that my car didn't come with any on the 2003.5 huh? And there are two shorter pipes that can be put in two different places which can wreak havoc with EXACT fitment. My clamps were also the wrong size.

What to do to make this a MUCH better kit:

The pipes should be NUMBERED and a diagram showing EXACTLY where each one goes.

Longer or shorter fabricated pipes (depending on their locations). There's not enough room or pipe to play around and wiggle with.

More larger clamps. Some of the ones supplied couldnt be used so some factory clamps were used instead. (mostly for uniformity throughout)

And there's some other things, but these are the biggest points I wanted to make.

yup exactly what i thought...
it had been like 5-6 when i installed the core and the pipes and went for a test drive without the fans and the bumper but it took another 6 hours to finish everything up(1-2 hour rest) by the time i was putting the bumper back on i was too tired to drill again for the core and install the pipe in a diffrent way(and i wasnt really sure that it wouldve fixed the problem)
**** i need a new bumper now and the worse part is trying to color match the blazing yellow :(

this is where everything was still goin ok
