restoring a steering wheel

I bought a used MSP steering wheel, and i didn't notice any fade until i took this pic (for a 'before' of the stitching)

How do I restore the 'faded' spots of the steering wheel?

That is the reason why I treat my steering wheel with Meguiars leather cleaner/restorer.

You can try using a leather cleaner, but it might be too late for you. In the future, use a leather conditioner regularly to keep the leather looking new. I condition my leather shift boot, steering wheel, and Ebrake boot every month.
