I ordered these and just need a day to install, how long did it take you? any complications you can give me a headsup. Like it on the white I'm putting it on silver.
Any light output differences? or its not that noticable?
Were your headlights stock before this? just making sure you didn't paint them
I want to paint mine black and then put the overlays on (kinda why I'm waiting) but yours looks good like it is.
Thanks to misbehave his intructions helped a lot also the foglight overlays come with instruction as well the whole install took me about an hour because I wanted to take my time. I have'nt check the light out put because it's really sunny but I will report how the look at night. My headlights were stock they were chrome but I had a bodyshop custom paint them black mica. Thanks I also like them and for $10 it's a sick mod.
Anyway here are the instructions the misbehave sent me a PM there were very helpful:
Go to
here to see how to remove the fogs. In short, just jack up the car, craw under it. Locate the 2 major large bolts on each side. Unscrew the bolts, then remove the bulbs and the negative wire clips connecting to the back of the lamps. Then you can get them out.
It is much easier to apply them inside the house.
The house is warmer which is good for the overlay to stick. Also I have a bad back (from accident), bending down a few hours just wouldn't do for me.
The applying process require the use of blow hair dryer. I can just take the lamps to my bathroom instead of finding a long wire to connect the dryer to my car.
I sprayed water + soap mixture to the lamp surface (of course after you get it all cleaned up). When you order them, instruction will come with the package. It was very easy. I did some cutting though cause the lamp was curved. I started working on it at 10:30am and it was all done and dried completely by 2:00pm.
For the bubbles, if you follow the instructions well, you shouldn't be worry about them. Just need time and patient. A tiny needle helps too, but just for those bubbles you really can't get rid of.
Just remember to prepare the water and soap mixture and the blow hair dryer. The heat from the dryer will soften/melt the overlay a little bit make the bubbles very easy to be removed and make the overlay stick better.
Hope this help.
