Need Help BEGI RRFPR

KySpeed

Dick Vitale that is
:
2003.5 MSP
Okay we just finshed up an isntall of the BELL kit on a pro5 and we set the idle psi of hte fpr at around 48psi..

When you go WOT the car will make it to about 3100rpms almost like its a revlimiter.. and the fuel PSI doesnt rise up? Whats goin on eveyrones sayin its rich but the psi isnt going up on the gauge?

Idle PSI? You mean the 0 VAC point? When you pull the boost line and set it?
How high is the Fuel pressure going? When my MP3 was newer the fuelwould hit the hgih 90's but as time went on the fuel pump wasn;t handling it anymore so i had to install an auxilury fuel pump.

I assume you have the RR-FPR signal line hooked up and have adjusted teh rate of gain screw?

1) what is your psi at boost (you mean it wont rise AT ALL?)
2) what is your screw set for
3) how is the RRPFR hooked up (describe)
4) how is "everyone" saying its rich if the fuel pressure isnt going up? what are you using to judge AFRs?
5) if you cant get above 3100rpms my guess is you have some charge pipe loose
6) reduce your fuel pressure to 36-40 at idle
7) do you have an CELs?
8) what fuel pump do you have
9) calm down your post doesnt make too much sense

BEGI should look like this

it does

the instructions said just to set it at idle to 52psi and work from that? should we have pulled the boost line and set it so it was 52psi at 0 vac not at like -25vac like it is at idle? cause that would make sence

At idle your supposed to pull the RR-FPR signal line, that is what I mean by zero VAC. When that line is pulled the RR-FPR sees no pressure or boost so its at Zero. Then you set it to between 48 and 52 PSi of fuel if memomy serves.

You are correct.
