How to pull Front door speaker wire...

Well i just pulled 12 gauge into the rear doors and it was a snap. The pic below shows where i pulled the wire through the plug. Basically its right on top rather than through the small holes. The only problem with this way is that the rubber cover doesn't quite fit flush to the car. I haven't figured out how to remedy this yet, maybe seal it up with some silicone? I used Crankin Cable (I think that's what it's called) and it is some heavy duty s*** - makes Monster look like dental floss or something!

Wow, thanks for the great info, Poseur!!
I am glad I found this thread before my attempt to do the same thing this weekend. This by far might be the hardest part of my install. I have ran new wires to the front doors of a 93 Integra and I remember it was a b****.

Awesome job, man!

i just noticed the original date on this...lol...2003...

I just did this today. Mind you I only got one side done, but the idea is very good, and it's easy in application.

i am doin mine as well... but a 3 is not the same!!! i had to take my driver side door off to release the harness on that side!!! not fun at all... i took some pics and will have a short right up for 3 owners shortly... just thought i would post that here since this is the info i had going into my project and lets just say it was a bit different!!!

Please postup pics and such, if youhave enough documentation and feel like how-to ing it, I'll gladly move a thread of that to the how-to section.

i will put together what i got probably some time this weekend... working 12 hour days is killin my free time (plus i still have to put the damn speakers in now that all the wires are run...) will take some pics of the passenger side and hopefully be able to write up a quick how to... and what not to do... some one had to learn the hard way... but its only costing me 3$ and a headache to fix the f-up....

feelya on the longday thing man, and yea write-ups take some time, don't feel like you need to do it, but I'm sure many would appreciate it.
