That really sucks. To bad they didn't leave a color of paint behind because you already have their door height (only works in a parking lot with a limited number of cars).

edit: I take that back, looks more like a sliding dent, like a shopping cart.

Sorry body, The same has happend to me and not only once... 3 times in the last 2 years!

whatever happened to an eye for an eye? you hit my car with a shopping cart... I hit you back with one. one for every mile on my car!!!

good thing is, looks like paintless dent repair would take that out. should cost about 50 to 75 bucks

Bottom line is...the general public has NO respect for the personal property of others. I always end up walking a long way because of where I park...in places where it's virtually impossible for a shopping cart or a carelessly opened car door can get me. Well, hey..I'm getting exercise too. It works if you commit to it...the Altima I traded in on my 3 was in PERFECT shape because everywhere I went, nobody could get close to the car (unless the were INTENT on doing so - on that front, I was lucky). Sorry about the dents, man..that really bites. I think I rather someone smack me than hit my car - at least I can hit back.

Your only course of action is just to hope that the person responsible will get ass ***** by a tribe of yeti.

What I hate is when I park away from everyone else, and come back out of the store to see that, with all the places to park, someone has parked right next to me.

so take a glass bottle, and break it on the parking spot next to you, then there'll be glass all over it, and they'll have to look for another space to park. OR you can just park your car centered over 2 spaces.

Then some jackass will park next to you just to spite you.

i usually take up 2 parking spots -

the other day i was in my car waiting for my bro to come out of the doctors office when a minivan stops next to me at the red light. the lady in the passenger side desides to get out of the car and when she opens the door she tapped my left front fender. I got out the car and was like what the hell did you just do... she was like sorry and i said what's sorry gonna do - lucky it was just the rubber of the door that tapped my car - no dents or anything happened.

yeah man, people really dont care about other peoples property and then when you're too careful with your things, they say "it's only a car"

that deserves a PUNCH in the face

Do you mean take up two spaces? I believe that will get you keyed

Then you take your tire lug wrench out of your trunk and get yourself what I like to call "revenge".

99% of the time when you come back and see your car keyed, the person who did it left or parked somewhere else, they wouldnt be that stupid to key your car and park right next to you.

oh well, i still take up 2 spots and i make it obvious. .. i dont take up 2 spots parking between the lines - i park diagnol taking up both spots, so all the cars are parked straight and mine is the only one slanted

I park out the in the middle of nowhere.. take up 2 spots, and there's ALWAYS a van or truck beside me when i get back.
i have so many colours of paint on my car it's rediculous... i have rule that if i ever catch anybody hitting my car, i'll key the length of their driver's door.. .if it's "just a car" then they shouldn't care, eh?
