Smoked tails?

I'm thinking I'm going to go with a Titanium MSP, take off the Protege and Mazdaspeed badges, get the holes filled at the body shop, then paint the front and rear Mazda badges, and tint the windows. Obviously, if I do this, the red tails will stand out like a sore thumb, so I was thinking I'd get some European-style smoked tails(by European-style, I mean "how Europeans tend to mod", not "APC wants to sell Altezzas by calling them "euro tails")....so, does anybody make them, or am I going to have to tint them myself?

Those are what I have on my Jetta, so that's sorta like what I'm looking for....

To my knowledge no one makes them. If you do paint them tough I would use testors clear coat. I used their red clear paint for my tails and my APC tails and I will say it goes on great works great and looks great. I have used nite shades on my old probe and I think it works better then night shades way better and I believe they make a smoked or black clear paint too.

i posted somethin about this a while back...i would say the only way to do it is to paint them with some of that transparent spray paint. you may want to go to a junkyard and get an old car taillight to try it on first. also where you gonna get a titanium msp?

Titanium Grey is one of the colours for 2003.5

Here are some photoshops I did, of debadging, and various tails...(that is the actual colour, for reference).

TOp is stock
Next one is debadged
Next one is smoked except for reverse
Next is full smoked.

I've even heard of people taking their back tails to Tint shops and getting them to cut a perfect peice to lay ontop of the tail
