Defi EGT install HELP!!!

Well the intructions are a joke. and the conflict with what is on their website.

I need to make sure I have the "fittings" in the right order and in the right direction.

Has anyone here done the install themselves? If anyone can chime in please help!

Hmmm, thats how i'd put them on too. The Greddy EGT i have doesn't have any "fittings" like that... So sorry if i'm not much help.

You tap whatever u are going to put the egt probe with a 1/8 an tap

(small threads). Tighten down the fitting, put the crush washer in the

hole (small side first) then put the sensor through the washer and then

tighten the sensor down.

Your order looks right to me. If the large side of the tapered sleeve fits snuggly (spelling?) in to the groove on the stepped washer, than yes, you've got it right for sure.

I would say this is correct.It lloks like the stepped washer is the seal to the threaded coupling and the tapered fitting is a crush style sealing sleeve.
I would say you have it in the right order.

Have you got pictures of where you installed your EGT sensor?

Trying to plan where things are going to go, and when I get my highboost manifold (I assume it's going to be very similar to yours) I want to know where the EGT sensor is goign to go.

I have yet to install mine...I've been so busy with other parts of the car.

I will be tapping into an exsisting opening in the manifold. I will still need to drill and tap, but this is a perfect spot IMO.

Yeah, I have the gauge/sensor and a weld on mounting bung for it sitting here right now, just need to figure out where it's gonna go so I can get everything all set before I drive the car back to LA for final tuning with Juan with the new manifold installed and all my problems corrected. Or if I should get a screw in bung... hmm, decisions decisions.

HEY YP5. I really hate to threadjack but I just recieved my Highboost kit. It has everything in t except downpipe, turbo, exhaust manifold. I'm thinking he ships those seperate simply because there wasn't any room at all in the box with everything else in there. So I'm asking did u recieve to boxes? Again hate to threadjack
