sweeeet man... now I'm thinking of going with coilovers instead of spending money for racingbeat springs and tokico struts. I wanna go with some gunmetal rims to match my painted headlights and having a white car... mmmmm.
werd i wanna paint my calipers... not sure on color, since my whole style seems to be white/black maybe i oughtta paint them black.. but they're black already so nm... lol
they feel great. along with my 17"s and the Proxes 4 tires, they stick to the ground like glue.
I made an appointment with Mazda to get it aligned, but I'm still waiting.. Gotta wait till monday.. They must be over their heads in work if I made an appointment early this week and Monday is as early as they can do it..
If you want them, I'd say go through www.hopupracing.com
They were very cool and helped me the whole way through the buying process, even when my card accidentally got charged twice, they fixed it right away. The reason it got charged twice is because they have a deal right now, if you order any B+G product then you can get your shipping upgraded to 2nd day for 5 bucks more, so I jumped on it.. but I had to include a note online for them to do so.. So when my order went through, they had to re-submit it, and then they had to void the other one. They still have the 2nd day shipping for 5 bucks going on now, too... but I would call them to order instead of doing it online. It'll probably be easier that way, and then they won't have to resubmit the order and charge again and void the first..
i should mention, if you do order them they get shipped direct through B+G. It takes them a couple of days to get the order, and then it's 2-day shipped to your house or wherever. Took me 4 business days total.
i'll be back. not sure when. I'd like to come back for the 4th of July but that probably won't happen. I'll make sure and say hi and maybe we can have a mini-meet when I visit.
As for the mod, they cut the OEM strut bearings off of the stock suspension stuff and put the bearings on the B+G coilovers. I'm not sure what it entails, because I had a shop do it.. If I had known I probably would have just bought new bearings.. oh well, I'll probably never put the car back to stock suspension anyways.. I love it how it is.
so it wouldnt be a bad idea to get new bearings when i go to install these. thanks man. thanks for the link. its a good priced even shipped it said $893 (not a bad price) but my buddy always gets me good deals since i help him out at the shop every now and then. he already quoted me $850. glad to hear you like them though.
do you have any clunking or pop or unusual noise with these.
