Hi they will only make the shifter rattle if the shifter is not lubed properly.i cant say for the other shifters but the ones we produce have the same diameter ball. if its a little smaller then you will get some vibrations. you might try some thicker grease to try and fix it Tom

will not happen with our setup. i had a B&M shifter in my old P5 for exactly two days. i hated the thing. i had the same problem you had. week later i had the first proto Kartboy shifter for the Protege. the rest is shifter history :) Tom

i did a customers car that was all nasty underneath( shame on him) the nut was frozen on the stud. it all came out as one unit. no problems what so ever. just put a dab of locktite to make sure it wont back off. Tom

Hi guys There are two different shifters. the throws are the same. the only thing thats really different is the taper on the upper half that is used for the MSP factory knob. the MSP lever will work just fine on the P5's. i had that one on my personal car and it rocked. feel free to shoot me...

Time to sell the Pro5... Just completely detailed buy a professional. (Almost looks like new!) Car: 2002 Mazda Protege 5 yellow, ABS, Side Airbags, Moonroof 51K miles on the ODO No door dings. Some small rock chips but nothing abnormal for a used car. Paint looks really good after the detail...
