Yeah, Bill said it helped braking considerably as well. Think, more [effective] weight in the rear, you can apply more rear bias before it will lock up. Rear locking up before the front = very tight butt hole.
He also had a splitter in the front, though.
Thank you. I keep telling myself I will eventually replace the lines on my truck, but we know how that goes...
Yeah, you could probably part out the non-ruined parts and come out in the black.
I would, but I think that's definitely going to be too big for me. Older cars and their small...
Now I know who to contact if I need odd sized hardware!
The oil pan brace is a cool idea. I never even thought about that, but it seems like that could come into play at crazy power levels with a modular "block" like that.
I don't even know what someone would have to pay me to do that. I ran one from my passenger wheel well to the proportioning valve whatever on the firewall and even something that "simple" and "easy" wasn't. I think I paid around $300 to have my two rear lines replaced when one blew. So worth...
Those odd sized hardware pieces can be difficult to find, as I found, unless you want to buy titanium fasteners, which seem to come in about every size you can want.
What do race cars do? Does Lexan not fog up? Anti-fog solution on the windows?
I know the anti-fog drops don't work that well for dive masks, but oddly enough, spitting on them does. I think it would take a while to spit on all the interior windows to the point where they wouldn't fog up, lol.
