    Wiper Fluid

Have any other Sport owners been bitten by the lack of a Low Washer Fluid Light yet? When I bought the car, I skimmed the manual and noticed it there, but I apparently didn't notice the asterisk and note "Some models only". I guess that means not Sport. Oops.

    Real Bad Gas Mileage!

I can't argue with that. Over the first 11,000 miles (90-95% highway) I'm averaging 20.3 MPG.

    iPod Integration: Success! (with pics)

I have a question for anyone with an AudioLink. When you change tracks with the steering wheel controls, does the backlight on the ipod come on, like it does when you use the ipod controls to skip? I like where tebling put his, but my only concern is driving at night, changing tracks, and having...

    Mud Flaps

Yeah, I've noticed this too. The worst was after driving on muddy, sandy roads for most of a weekend, I must have had a couple of pounds of sand down in the doors.

    Am I Missing Something???

I don't have the Bose system, but I was puzzled/annoyed by the lack of a pause button for the CD player, until I realized a couple weeks ago that you can just shut it off to "pause". When you turn it back on, it'll start playing from the same spot, same volume, etc. It probably takes a couple...

Im starting to regret my cx7... :(

When I went in for my last service, I asked the dealer for a reflash. The guy said they're not supposed to do it on a whim, only when there's a related problem reported, so he rewrote the service order to say I was having hesitation problems (I wasn't). I drive about 90-95% highway and I'm...

Hesitation / Vibration in my new CX-7

For what it's worth I've never noticed the hesitation, but when I had my CX-7 at the dealership a couple of weeks ago I asked them to do any available PCM updates. The manager said they'd just got a new update disc in the day before, but that technically they weren't supposed to do updates just...

FWD or AWD ? Does It Make A Diff

I live near Boston and I decided to go with FWD. Why? It's cheaper, and the added weight of the AWD equipment would take a bite (however small) out of gas mileage and acceleration. And, for those few times a year when the AWD would actually make a difference? I've been driving FWD vehicles all...

    CX-7 Repairs

I have noticed that there's a lot of rain-hitting-something noise coming from the top of the front doors/B-pillar area at high speeds, even in light rain. At least, a lot more than I'd expect given how much water I see hitting the windshield. I haven't quite figured that one out yet, probably...

    CX-7 Repairs

Ok, the forum software managed to eat my reply and I don't feel like typping it all out again, so here's a quick summary: Dealer replaced mirror, slight improvement (vibration but no noise now, like when it was brand new - hopefully this mirror doesn't get worse too). Dealer replaced front...

    window problems

I have the same "thumping" problem on my driver's window... it seems like it stutters a bit while it's about halfway through rolling down, but it's fine rollling back up. I've only seen it happen when using the auto-down. I'd say it happens about a quarter of the time. It one of the things I'm...

    Real Bad Gas Mileage!

I'm averaging just under 22 MPG (about 90% highway) after 3500 miles.

    CX-7 Repairs

Well, I guess the thread subscription email thing doesn't work after all. I just assumed nobody had replied to me... thanks for the responses, everybody. :)

    CX-7 Repairs

Hey all, new CX-7 owner here (Sport FWD, Galaxy Gray) with my story and a couple questions. I took it home on 8/21, and pretty quickly I noticed some of problems: 1. The front doors are noisy (creaky) when opening/closing. 2. The alignment was slightly off, it tended to drift left at highway...
