I installed my old Voodoo knob from my previous car (2001 Miata) but it simply didn't look right with the different shift boot. I've looked at "Monster Knobs" but for now I'm sticking with stock.

I don't think you could wrong with either one. I chose the Sport as the dealer had a very limited selection. I test drove a GT as well, I liked the "bells and whistles" but didn't feel a need for them.

Congrats on your ride, looks nice and clean in the photos as well. My first car was a 1975 Chevy Vega (I'm 42 years old) and the gas gauge didn't work. Ran out of gas on the NJ Turnpike on the way to NYC. Things have been progressively better since then !

I've been pretty faithful to Mother's Mag Wheel Polish, been using it for a few years now and it does a nice job. In a pinch I'll also use a spray detailer, my detailer of choice if Gliptone's "Body Gloss".

The orange dots you mentioned sound like the "rail dust" that was brought up in a previous post. "Rail Dust" is caused by friction generated by the train wheels during transport, a common issue.
