    tires at 50 psi

Huh..? Most compressors are designed for multiple purposes, not just filling tires to an exact pressure. And there are also many different correct pressures for different cars and tires, so there is really no one "correct" pressure. Yep, gauges on the hose are horribly inaccurate, which...

    Riding on Bump stops

The stock Mazda6 suspension has a little over 2 1/2" of suspension travel at stock ride height. Do the math and you'll see you're dangerously close to the bump stops with that much of a drop. You CAN cut the stops which will give you more travel, and that's really a necessity with lowering...

    Did you know...

Yes, it's also documented in the seldom-read owner's manual, and it's actually 30 seconds.

    oh my!

Oh, I'm sure there are more reasons than just that. But I have to agree, extremely pointless.

    Is this fixable?

In most of the GM cars, that was programmable. At least it was on my Impala. I also believe that the door lock when you drive option can be programmed into some of the aftermarket remote start units, check out the Viper series from DEI. Unfortunately it's not something you can program into the...

    Tire Problems Help!

Within 12,000 miles an alignment is considered an adjustment and covered under the new car warranty. If your car is under that mileage you should not have been charged for it.

I'm calling out the guy that claims to have installed a Walbro in an MS6...

You might try a little non-stick cooking spray like PAM on the pump body as you're pushing it into the heated plastic. That should keep the pump from sticking to the housing as it cools, and it won't hurt either the pump or the plastic housing.

    Camber Kit for Speed6?

Um, sorry but they weren't throwing you "some bs". They told you the truth. The stock front suspension on the Mazda6 platform has NO adjustments for either caster or camber, only toe. The only known aftermarket part(s) available to allow anything more than that are the SPC adjustable upper...

    Synthetic Oil

That means your oil is working, doing its job of removing contaminants and combustion by-products from your engine. I'd worry a hell of a lot more if it came out clean and clear after 6000 miles. The person trying to sell you a "flush" is just trying to make more money peddling unnecessary...

    Synthetic Oil

Mazda does NOT recommend synthetics in their rotary motors. The variable valve system is not in any danger from synthetic oils. Matter of fact, the new Mazda cars come with a factory fill of Motorcraft semi-synthetic oil. Once again, a dealership that doesn't know what they're talking...

    Wheel Offset questions (again)

Ok, I've searched and found a lot of discussion on wheel offsets, but my particular question(s) hasn't exactly been addressed. If it has and I've missed the proper thread I apologize, but admittedly there is a lot to search thru. So, about wheel offsets: I'm planning on replacing my stock...

    Holy Brake Dust Batman

I'll have to try some of that, saw it at Advance today but figured it was along the lines of snake oil. On a more pleasant note, the dusting seems to decrease as you use the pads. At about 2700 miles they've decreased signifigantly. Of course any dust is really noticeable on the silver...
