Picked up CX-5 Premium Plus yesterday. Today the info screen went out. Already back at dealer hoping for a fix since no features can be accessed without info screen. Two hours already. I thought I did my homework. I was wrong. This is a Mazda known problem. I would not have picked this vehicle had I known. My 5th Mazda. Hoping for a fix today. Mazda do better.

So, if you buy the gorgeous new 2026 Mazda CX5 Premium Plus, be aware there’s a software glitch that could possibly cause the infotainment screen to go black and unresponsive. A little triangle with an exclamation mark in it appears on the left side of instrument panel. The dealer should have the update from Mazda to fix it. It can take several hours. New things can have bugs.
