Alignment after replacing front struts ?

:
Mazda5 2015 GS
I had to replace the OEM Front Struts after 10 years of hard life through city potholes.
I reused the OEM top mounts & springs with new KYB struts. I was expecting the alignment toe in/out would get out of specs, but to my surprise my M5 handles like everything fell in place in the right spot.
Is there any chances reusing the top mounts + the non adjustable camber design makes an alignment optional?

Why not replace the top mounts and springs while you were in there?

I replaced the front struts on my mazda 6 with the quick strut full assembly. I did not need any alignment after doing so. In fact, the car has never needed an alignment at all over 10 years, 340,000KM and the entire front suspension being redone. It was checked once in 2022 and did not need any adjustments at all. Still tracks perfectly straight, tires wear evenly to this day.

Already swapped the struts myself and wanted to avoid the white-label Asian kits they sell at full price in Canada.

Springs were still in good shapes and so were the mounts. Also, only 139000km, but started leaking and bouncing on rough road in the last months.

Good to know I'm not crazy about the alignment. Still looks fine and was checked a few months ago with no nothing required

Wow. Ok. My 2015 had more than 330,000KM when i replaced the fronts. nothing is leaking - were just getting tired from bad roads and hard cornering. The rears are still original.

What can I say. Montreal's potholes are really something. That and a new driver not even attempting to avoid them ;-)
