Vibration felt on highway (2020 CX-5)

I just purchased a Certified 2020 CX-5 Grand Touring Sept 2024.. One issue I have is intermittent vibration felt in the seat and steering wheel while driving on the highway. It doesn't happen the entire time, just when driving over rippling parts of the highway. The dealership did correct the balance in the wheels but still feeling the vibration. I'm scheduled to bring it back this week for them to figure out what else could be the issue. Any thoughts from the Mazda CX-5 experts on what else could be the issue? Thanks!

Solution
Hi all,
To finalize this thread, it turned out to be the tires. Dealership put 4 new Michelin tires on. Problem solved.
I appreciate everyone's input. I hope y'all have an awesome upcoming holiday and a happy New Year!
There's alot of expensive tires brands. Is there a particular brand you recommend for the CX-5?
There’re too many good tires to choose and everybody has opinions. I personally won’t get Michelin’s as I believe they’re overpriced and had some bad experience of mine in the past.

I myself got Radar Dimax AS-8 225/55R19 103V several years ago due to its low price (~$80 each) and good reviews and they’re good enough for me.

The latest discussion:

I have Continental Cross Contact LX25s. Before long I'm going to have to replace them. Been happy with them. Is this still the way to go? I always like to check in and see if there's a better option. I'm seeing the Michelin Cross-Climate 2 on cars a lot. But I think the treadware isn't as good is it and pricier?

I'm in the NW of Metro Denver. '16.5 GT.

Getting close for new tires

Glad to hear it was a slam dunk.

With all the sets of tires I've had across numerous vehicles, only once it turned out to be the tires like that. For whatever reason, slightly out-of-round and subtle enough that even decent balancing didn't find it. Yet, swapping to a new set of a different make/model of tire solved it.

You never know.

Myself, I've been using DiscountTire for some years now. They have good-quality Hunter balancing equipment, and (at least at the shop I frequent) knowledgeable techs. Selecting high-grade tires in the first place, plus using a competent shop that uses top-notch equipment and techs ... it's like "gold." Last thing I want to do is have to go through these sorts of issues. Cost more, usually, but it ends up being a "known quantity" nearly ever time. Nice thing about DiscountTire, too, is their all-inclusive coverage for errors, problems, damage, flats. (And at least with the Nokian aramid-featured tires I tend to do, a nice added "pothole protection" plan above and beyond whatever it is DiscountTire does. And with DT's merging with TireRack this past year the choices are better than they've been.

I typically go to Town Fair Tire which is basically the same as Discount Tire. I'm glad it was only the tires and not something more serious. I can actually start to enjoy my Mazda now!

I’ve been using Discount Tire / America’s Tire (in California) for all of the tire related works since 1985’s. The best thing is they’re a national chain, and I have no problems doing the tire services and warranty issues at America’s Tire in California even if tires were installed at Discount Tire in Texas.

Other good things are they’d do free flat repairs on tires not bought from them (such as my factory tires). Some even got free tire rotation from them for factory tires although I haven’t tried. In addition, price match (i.e. to Costco or Tire Rack) is a norm, and they have no problems to get ANY tires I prefer within a couple of days, even for those not on their inventory.

When it’s time to have new tires, they’ll give you credit on percentage left of tire mileage used and tire mileage warranty if the tires were bought from them, which cut down the new tire cost further.
