Windshield water hose connection

Yesterday I noticed that there was no water coming out when trying to clean the windshield. First, I thought that the water pump gave up but checked good at the first stop. I could clearly hear the pump turning on when actuating the wipers. Opened the bonnet and found a loose hose. I could not find the other end to connect it so maybe some of you might know the answer.

Does any fluid come out of the hose when you operate the washer?

Yes, on the right side of the car. I tried to find the hose inside the fender without removing anything but no luck. Last week I had my car at the dealer to replace the exhaust manifold and I believe they forgot to reconnect the hose. Right when I wanted to give them five stars for the work…

Ok so I have a CX-9, not a CX-5, but the hose routing for the windshield washer tubing appears to be similar. Here's a couple of pictures of mine. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the info. I am at the dealer as we speak, the tech is working on it. I have a dashcam which turns on every time the car powers up! I know who and what they did or rather did not!

Problem solved. But another thing happened. The tech could not close the bonnet! One of the springs was missing or, at least, was not in its proper place. So the guy comes back saying that the bonnet cannot be closed and I need a new latch assembly! I asked to go into the shop, to see it with my own eyes. Discovered that the spring was hanging down, detached from the hook. The tech was trying to reconnect it to the wrong end. It seemed funny and sad, at the same time, that I had to show him where the spring needed to be in order for the latch to work properly. So now everything is back as is supposed to be. Man, these technicians... Hood latch return spring. For a 5$ spring and lack of attention, you end up spending 100$ to replace the whole assembly.

You should have told the tech that since this was the first time you had to help, that there would be no charge for the consultation. The first time is free, not the second.

Oh, I walked out free of charge! It was their fault and they accepted right away, no question asked.

The scariest part of the whole thing, to me, is if the service department was this bad on the little things, how did they do on the bigger repair of the exhaust manifold .

For the exhaust, can't comment anything bad. The CEL disappeared, car runs smooth, everything feels and sounds perfect, like a brand new car. I can't say anything but good.
