Another Firmware Update question

:
2017 Mazda CX-5 GS
I’m getting conflicting information, and need a definitive answer. I have a 2017 CX 5 GS, right now running v. 59.00.502. I've seen information that says I can go straight to a one file 70.xxx, actually I have 74.xxx on a USB drive, and other instructions say I have to first do the 2 file 70.00.100A, then the 74.xxx.

The latter is what I had intended to do. I have the 2 file update on one drive, and the newer version on another drive, all ready to go.

So, the question is, do I need to do the 70.00.100 before updateing to the latest version?

thank you

never mind - The answer is yes, I do have to do both installations. Mods can delete this if you like.

good luck. The hardware install is very easy, just takes time. I did it on my 2018 few years back.
Its worth it.

Hello there, could you share the guide you used to upgrade from v59 to v70? I'm trying to upgrade from v55 to v70 and I suppose the instructions would be the same.

Also did you do the two file process first? I know there is a v70.00.335c that is single file and that is getting me confused.

Can you upgrade from firmware 59.00.502 to 70.00.335C directly? Hopefully I can but if not then could someone facilitate me firmware 70.00.100A?
