I think the ones that are sequential have the LEDs arranged to look like little arrows, while the ones above are a switchback style that is always on (white) and flashes amber when the turn signals are engaged.

Wired DRL ACC to the low beam headlights. They do strobe amber with turn signal and hazards. Brightness smokes the weak fog light.

I fixed my console latch with this little mod I found on this forum.
I got two magnet sets from Amazon for $7 something.
I might be able to use the other set but this cheaper and easier than replacing the latch. Just drill two tiny holes for the screws. It looks good, too.

I know someone posted this fix somewhere. The console latch won't stay so the door flips open.
The magnet has the same closing feel as the latch but you don't have to press anything to open.

Looks like a 2016 or 2016.5 console to me. Different from my 2014 and Gen 2.

Ordered a 27k axle from ebay for about 65 usd. I didn't want to replace the boot and grease due to exposure and it was vibrating, so it would need replaced eventually. Also a boot kit was 20-30usd. Came from the NE so its has surface rust which i have treated and and adding flat black paint (i live in TX so its not really an issue, but seems best practice to address rust regardless).

So both of your outer CV boots ripped? With how many miles? I thought Japanese rubber boots should be more reliable, as my 1998 Honda CR-V with 185K miles is still having original outer CV boots. I had to replace CV boots on my VW’s once for every 45~55K miles with boot kit as they wouldn’t last long. Yeah if the axles are starting to vibrate, I’d do the same getting used OEM and low-mile axles to replace.
