2017~2025 Rubber nipples under rear suspension arms

:
Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring
I was looking under our CX-5 today and found rubber nipples underneath the rear suspension arms.

Caught me by surprise. Kind of funny to see.

They seem like wear indicators because they clearly won't make any noise if you drive over something low.
Nothing on the front arms.

Positioning tabs for lower spring mounts. They were on previous models as well.

Probably also to avoid direct contact metal on metal, and reducing noizes.

The spring mounts I mentioned are rubber isolation pads. The "nipples" are there to keep them from shifting/turning.
