Mazda One-Pay Lease Program? (wish to lease 24mo, but avoid high MF)

I'm researching with the idea of being ready to lease a 2017 CX-5 GT AWD diesel, if the stated 24 month residuals are attractive.

Mazda, via Chase, offers good Money Factor rates for 36 month leases (0.744%), but are really high (5.52% lately, was 8% APR, Money factor x 2400) for 24 month leases.

Does anyone have a resource, or experience, with their "One-Pay Lease Program"? I wouldn't mind making one payment for the 23 remaining payments (1st month being at signing), if doing so would get the effective interest rate was down at/below/near their 36 month rate.

One-Pay Lease Program: Your customers have the option of making all monthly lease payments upfront, in one single discounted payment.

Oh, please, don't morph this into a lease vs. buy discussion or debate; or a 'why don't you just do 36 months' Q&A. In that regard, I'll stipulate that for many/most, leasing isn't financially optimal; 24 months just makes sense personally. Thanks.

PS: I asked over at Edmunds, but they didn't have any answer.

This is the first I have heard of that ONE-PAY being available here... very cool.

In the past I just told others to set up a savings account with the remaining payments, and have the payments automatically withdrawn from that account. (This way you still have a cash reserve available if needed, and earn small amount of interest too)

Maybe try the forum at leasehackr... https://forum.leasehackr.com/
