just out of curiousity, does anyone know or have used non-amber 1157 bulbs for the CX-5 front/parking lights ?
I can't stand the "egg yolk" OEM look , but those chrome colored 1157 are not bright at all
and the LED switchbacks need resistors, so just wondering if these are legal for the front ?

blackCX5 ,
yrwei52 is right those clear 1156 bulbs in your link can't be used for the CX-5 dual 1157A,
I think you meant to ask about these,

they will work, but they won't emit amber color, more like a very light yellow/orange, far away drivers might not see your turn signal as obvious as amber color.....and police may give you a hassle if they happen to pass you from the opposite direction as your making a turn
just go with the LED switchbacks, they look awesome and I actually find that they add more illumination at night, ie, when at a red light, and pedestrians are crossing, their faces are actually illuminated more than without the white LED switchbacks, not sure if that makes sense, it's hard to explain, only those with switchbacks will understand.
like in another example, when remote starting and the parking lights are on, the white LED switchbacks are on, and I swear i thought it was the main headlights, but when I double checked, my mains were off, the white light were only coming from the switchback LED with the small projector lens at the tip...
see my post below for the switchback bulb I got.....
it's not hard at all to install the hyperflash resistors, see my post for instructions:
