Gun storage

I'm coming from a 2012 Ram 3/4 ton with plenty of in-cab storage. I had all sorts of s***...sleeping bag, gloves, first aid kit, Springfield XD .45, etc. In the Cx5 I just picked up, I'm finding there is next to no storage. Especially there isn't 'hidden' storage for a gun. What have y'all found to work well?

I am looking at the arm rest and thinking of putting in a fake floor in there and keeping my glock underneath it. I also came from a truck so I know where you are coming from.

I usually just glove-box it if it's a long trip and I won't be out of sight of the vehicle. Otherwise, a car is not a holster. Carry on-person is 100% the best option. That said, this is how I typically travel:

Thank goodness I don't have the gun storage consideration in the UK........

Is that a map of your next target? Also did your truck come with the rear mounted machine gun option?

In England we just shout "unhand that hostage you despicable cad" and if we want meat we go to a butcher where you don't have to stalk some poor creature.

Gun storage problem solved.

Had the same problem with my Samurai sword until I found a solution.

There needs to be "Like" button.

So glad I live over here, but love it over there.

That's a 370Z, and those were aerial photography and topo maps of the property I was traveling to look at and consider buying (I bought it).

Here is a view from the rough location of where I plan on putting the house:

That's awesome. You plan on building yourself or use general contractor?
