What have you done to your Miata today?

So I went out and got me a long 1/2 ext for my long breaker bar! Tomorrow will be victorious!!!!

i needed the long 1/2 ext to reach the top two bolts, only had a 3/8...my breaker bar is like 20"

That makes more sense. You mean the 2 bolts for the tail-shaft housing support bracket? F**kin' northern cars, man, I swear. Even the car I had to burn & cut bolts off of, didn't have trouble with those. Just hit them with my electrical impact and they came right out.

no, the two top bolts in the tunnel...i can see one the other is hiding on me! actually my car is very clean underneath, it hasn't seen a winter in it's 12 yrs! everything has come apart very easily so far...these bolts are just hard to reach...if the universal and long ext with the breaker bar doesn't do it i may have to try from the top, which means taking much more apart than i really want to(boom01)

Go by feel. :)

Home for a short visit. Finally got my hands on the dash I bought (my buddy stored it in his garage until I got home), now I just have to install it. My MS is headed back to me, took a little back and forth communication with Reverant but it will be worth it. He integrated the CAN WB module inside my unit and loaded upgraded firmware. Can't wait to put it in and fire her up.

Bought a pimp header to replace the Jackson Racing garbage I have under the hood :D

The vent windows aren't bad to install as long as you can keep from getting the black spooge on the moisture barrier in the doors from getting all over. I just don't understand why the ones Levi has are mounted so high, I have the ones from Project G and they are much lower down in the triangle.

I ordered a few bits and pieces from The Parts Group since they are scrapping a low mileage 2000 SE. Already have the lower rad mounts and some parchment pushpins, I'm also buying the dash from him as mine was drilled for a cupholder mount in the lower console area that has bugged me since I replaced it with a different one. I also got some powder coated rear A-arms (full set), not sure yet if those are going on the Miata or on the RX-7 (I need to take measurements to see if an independent rear end from a Miata will fit under a FB).

I guess I was asking why did you buy a new dash?

See above. One of those little things that bug me (if you remember from way back, I put new felt on the dash vents to cure the floppiness. Only problem was the place only had purple felt, and I could see it peeking out at me. I found some black felt and redid them).

Attached the spoiler to the CSP Miata. Needs something to seal the gaps on the far edges but looks pretty good on there. The blue tape is hiding holes from a previous spoiler.

Upon further reading of the rules, I can't have that extension towards the subframe beyond the back of the wheel opening, but that's a *very* easy problem to fix at this stage.
