Sitting at light today, on the way back to the office with my lunch. Top down. 23*F. Sunny. BRISK!!

I notice the guy next to me is taking my picture with his cell phone so I give him a smile.

"You know it's too cold for that, right?" He says.
"It's not raining, so I'm good!" I said. "It's all about the wind-proof hat and the seat heaters!"

..he laughed, the light turned green, I went back to work. :D

I've been chasing Reverant for the status on my MS I returned to him for some upgrade work. All the work is done, just waiting for him to mail it back. I'm hoping to have it in my hot little hands before I go back to work beginning of March (and we have some warmer days, or at least some without crap on the roads).

It's a very tight fit Mark. When I did my clutch (both times), I left one bolt in on the diff (loosened, of course) and took all others out. It then swiveled out of the way. You should be able to do the opposite, and use a nice big dead-blow hammer at the rear to get it loose.

Keep banging away Mark, forget the instructions!!

Had to repair the front drivers turn signal wire. I had modified it back in 2011 to use the turn signals as DRL's. One of the wires was causing issues. Cut out the bad piece and respliced. Also had to replace the bulb.

worked on getting the starter disconnected last night, it finally warmed up enough to think about working on the car...got two of the three removed! many is it a tight fit in there! thankfully i have small enough hands to get in there...the universal and wobble are my friends!

Try going in through the passenger wheel well.

Also: please make sure the battery's disconnected. I'd hate for you to weld yourself to the starter. Bad juju. Not that, uh...I've ever done that.

I am personally a fan of removing more than you have to in order to free up more space. It usually ends up taking less time than if you try and fight around things. If you pull the alternator and the intake manifold brace you should have plenty of room to get at the starter.

Finished with the trailer ramp storage. Prior, the ramps were stowed between the decks, above the frame. I had some angle-iron to retain them at the front, and a ratchet strap that involved me getting underneath a hot muffler to secure them. It worked (most of the time...securing the ratchet strap was an 'only just' situation), but it was a kludge. Now they slide straight in, 2 big hook/carabiners to secure them, and the ramps are stowed. It'll make my life easier.

Thanks for the tips, I finally got all 3 out. Didn't have to take the manifold off after all. And yes I was sure to disconnect the battery!'
Now trying to get the tranny bolts out!!!! Who put those in superman? Any hints on these bolts? I put air on them too!

What's your longest bar? Can you add something to your longest bar?
