So be it.
And if the loaner they give you is a model that does not score as well in Crash Tests as the CX-5 what have you gained ????
Hmmmm, and I wonder who will end up paying for all those "free" loaners in the end. Sounds to me like us calm and collected Mazda clients will end up in a loose loose loose...
I was going to bring my car in but I decided that one extra trip on our road system posed an unnecessary risk and is likely to be far more dangerous than waiting until my service in May.
Our 2013 likely has a 1/13 build date or something like that. Purchased in May 2013.
You may lose(2 o's in goose/loose) a little now(what exactly I have no idea- ok maybe if you own shares), but rest assured for your brave if not heroic effort I'll bet the Dali Lama himself will grant you total consciousness on your death bed- so you've got that going for you- which is...wait for it...
Seriously, brother please
Sorry, I speak French in my daily life, English is my second language ,so I might make a few mistakes once in a while.
I was not speaking of shares prices. I was talking about your next oil change, OEM parts, etc. being a bit more expensive in the future. These things always get dumped back on the consumer. That is all that joy-riding in a "free" Mazda loaner will ever get you and everyone else with any certainty. But as long as you have your fun, who cares right?
Well, I hope the issue gets resolved sooner then later. I just talked to my dealer and they setting me up with a jeep Cherokee latitude. It was either that or a minivan they had. Secretly I was hoping for a mazda6 as I would have loved to take my dad for a drive in it. It's on his short list of cars to buy right now. And it's a Mazda so there is still the zoom zoom. Making my wife happy by not driving the cx-5. It's just not worth it to me to try to convince her otherwise, no matter how small the risk.
And to go way off topic f9r a moment, to our French speakers, I just read that they are changing the spelling of 2,400 French words. MERDE!
My understanding is that they have stopped selling new cars because they don't want them coming back to have it fixed. Better to deal with it while it is sitting there in their lot. They are probably dealing with existing customers as needed, which I assume would add to the time it takes to get to lot models.
I am sure once this gets rolling you could go in and buy a new CX-5 without much issue, if the fix is as easy as it seems. They are maybe just being cautious to make sure all dealers on on board and ready to go with the fix.
